We are so happy to have the Reverend Karen Matthews with us as our Priest-in-Charge!

Karen comes to us from New Zealand!

​

Her office hours are:  Tuesday & Thursday 9-Noon

She serves Eucharist on 2nd & 4th Sundays.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, the Rev. serves St. Matthew's in San Andreas.

The Reverend Deacon Amy Larsen comes to us each week from Merced.  

​

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays when the Rev. Karen is at St. Matthew's, Amy performs Morning Prayer for us. 

​

Amy has been with us for many years, now. 

Her faithfulness has been such a blessing!

The Rev. Carolyn Woodall is a Deacon in the Episcopal Church and was ordained on March 10, 2012. She is one of a small, but growing, number of transgender clergy in the Episcopal Church. She has been a vocal advocate of LGBT+ inclusion in the Episcopal Church, both in her diocese and in the greater Episcopal Church. She is currently serving on the Diocesan Commission on Ministry. She has also served on the Standing Committee and as a Deputy to the General Convention in 2024.


 

Carolyn retired after thirty six years as an attorney, seventeen years of which was with the Office of the Public Defender, and as Chief Conflict Counsel in Sonora, CA. She is on the board of directors of Sierra HOPE. Singing is one of her hobbies and she is a member of the Jazz Choir at Columbia College.


 

She lives in Copperopolis, CA, with one of her two adult children, as well as two cats who deign to let her live with them.
